1. God's Words
    1. Scripture
God has revealed himself in His written Word. The canon of Scripture is complete and without error or lacking in the original manuscripts. Scripture is completely sufficient and efficient for the desired goals of God in the spiritual lives of believers, hence, the importance of the accurate understanding of the original languages, context, history, critical thinking, and normal (literal) meaning. The study of Scripture is not simply an intellectual pursuit of academic material, but a lifelong faith-filled pursuit of a personal and growing relationship to and conformity with a loving Savior, guided and helped along by the Spirit. Scripture centers on the one and only (monogenes) Savior. While not all parts of Scripture were written to us, all parts of Scripture are written for our instruction. Matt. 5:18; John 10:35; 16:13; 17:17; 2Tim. 3:16-17; 2Pet. 1:20-21; Luke 24:27,44; John 5:39; Acts 1:16; 17:2-3; 18:28; 26:22-23; 28:23; Rom. 15:4; 1Cor. 2:13; 10:11; 2Tim. 3:16; 2Pet. 1:21
